Educational planning

Suffisa compares Canadian retirement drawdown assumptions. Results depend on the inputs and model limits below. They do not replace personalized advice.

Accounts and reports

The free calculation needs no account. A free account can save and edit one plan. Plus adds multiple saved scenarios, comparison, read-only sharing and PDF reports. Anyone holding a share link can view its numbers until you revoke it.

Trial and billing

A Plus trial lasts 30 days, once per account, without payment details. It does not automatically start a paid subscription. Billing begins only after choosing and confirming a plan through PayPal; Canadian-dollar prices and applicable taxes appear on the pricing page. Subscription management is in your account.

Service and contact

Suffisa is a self-service website with an interface in English and French. There is no staffed support team or live help. The public contact address is hello@suffisa.com.

Model scope and limitations

Planning estimate, not a tax return. The model excludes age and pension income credits, GIS, alternative minimum tax, provincial health premiums and salary CPP/QPP and EI contributions. These exclusions can increase or decrease estimated spending.

Select “Lifetime RPP pension” only for income eligible for federal splitting before 65. Other eligible pensions and modeled RRIF withdrawals are split from 65. Quebec provincial transfers start at 65. Foreign pensions, US IRAs and death-related exceptions require separate review. The model assumes both partners live in the same province and meet the election requirements.

Projected assets are remaining investments plus net home equity, before tax at death, estate or probate fees and liquidation costs. This is not an after-tax inheritance.

Probabilities depend on the assumptions: the same normally distributed annual shock affects all accounts. The model does not reproduce full diversification, extreme returns or every family or corporate situation.

2026 tax tables. OAS estimates annualize the October–December 2026 monthly maximum, then adjust for starting age and residence. This is not total 2026 payments; benefits change quarterly. Manually entered amounts are preserved. Check your benefit statement and current rules.
